"I'm an actor. A professional entertainer. It's not what I am it's who I am".
Thanks for taking the time to find out more about me. My journey to embarking on a career in acting has been an interesting one. From my earliest ambitions of becoming a fast-jet pilot for the RAF, to moving to America in my twenties to pursue professional wrestling with the WWE, to returning to the UK and establishing myself in the fitness industry.
But my authentic self has always been that of an entertainer. Being in front of a camera and getting to do what so many people wish they could do is a privilege. In such a hyper-competitive industry I've learned that hard work doesn't always result in success. But through my experiences I've also learned that it will never result in regret.
My Story
I am a British-born actor based in East London and represented by Michelle Liebetrau at ML International Talent.
A former professional wrestler, I cut my teeth in the entertainment industry by performing in front of live audiences and later a global television audience with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in the United States. Going by the ring name of "DJ Gabriel", between 2003-2010 I had the pleasure and privilege of performing for the biggest sports-entertainment company in the world. Many of the lessons I learned during this time would later prove invaluable when approaching my craft as an actor.
After my wrestling career came to an end, I was left trying to figure out what I thought I had already spent years of blood, sweat and tears in answering: who am I? Having pursued and living the lifestyle of a professional wrestler and athlete with unwavering focus, dedication and committment, returning to the UK left me with a huge void in my life.
It would take another six years of soul-searching and an extended foray into the Fitness industry before the entertainer in me became restless. But this period of uncertainty was crucial in forcing me to embrace the truth: job security is not worth more to me than an authentic existence with purpose, challenge and risk. For me, there is no 'Plan B' - I'm all in.
I love the creative freedom that comes with being an actor and I continue to develop my craft, train my body and acquire new skills that allow me to pursue opportunities in not only acting but stunt performance as well - under the right circumstances., of course*. I've purposefully developed a skill-set that can support my love for action, including advanced screen combat and firearms handling.
I believe that diversified portfolio of skills and experiences is the key to a successful acting career. I am equally as excited and driven to pursue opportunities that challenge me in more dramatic and comedic roles - I am an entertainer at heart - I love to make others laugh!
I live my life, personally and professionally, by following the life lessons of Arnold Schwarzenegger - His legendary '6 Rules for Success':
"Trust Yourself. Break some rules. Do not be afraid to fail. Ignore the naysayers. Work like hell. Give something back".

*It's important for me to note here that I am not a professional stunt performer, nor am I training to join the British Stunt Register. Through my physicality, wrestling background and skill-set I have earned industry recognised stunt credits working under several different world-renowned stunt coordinators.
